Varaville and the dukes of Normandy

Heritage walk

With your guide, discover the history of Varaville and its link with the Dukes of Normandy.
Located at the entrance of the marshes, the village has a privileged position of fording and has seen several battles.
A walking tour of about 8km, a loop in the marshes with guided stops.

It is imperative to wear appropriate shoes, be well-equipped, and bring water to stay hydrated during the walk.
The walk is accessible to children from 12 years old.
Good physical condition is required.
Surfaces: mainly paths but also some sections on roads.
