What Remains

Remains is an immersive performance by Eric Arnal-Burtschy.

Inspired by the oldest European sanctuaries, Remains appeals to the five senses to make the audience feel - placed under a tree and around an oracle - the scale of time.

The piece thus questions the notion of the sacred as applied to buildings, nature, or theater.

The performance is created with several artistic and scientific partners in Europe, including the University of Le Havre-Normandy for the creation of specific scents.

Remains is also part of a larger project developed around the theme "War and Peace" jointly by Le Volcan and the programming of the Comédie de Caen.
