Raoul, Gilbert, and the others: Guillaume's companions

Traveling exhibition The Pôle Archives presents an exhibition about life during the time of William the Conqueror, focusing on the companions connected to the Seine-Eure agglomeration. Indeed, the study of sources related to the conquest of England reveals that several companions of William originated from the Seine-Eure territory: Gilbert de Venables, Raoul de Tosny, Roger de Pîtres, and, in a more legendary manner, the archers of Vaudreuil. The exhibition is designed to be itinerant among cultural and educational establishments in the region, aiming to reach the largest audience possible.
