Traveling Exhibition

The Archives Hub is hosting an exhibition about life during the time of William the Conqueror, with a common thread being the mention of his companions connected to the territory of the Seine-Eure Urban Area.

Indeed, the study of sources related to the conquest of England reveals that several of William's companions are originally from the Seine-Eure territory: Gilbert de Venables, Raoul de Tosny, Roger de Pîtres, and in a more legendary way, the archers of Vaudreuil.

The exhibition is designed to be traveling among cultural and educational institutions in the area, in order to reach the largest audience possible.
