The court of England is the setting for this massacre where male courtiers conspire around the two heroines of this drama with the airs of a hellish thriller. Between Mary Stuart, the imprisoned Queen of Scotland, and Queen Elizabeth I of England, the rivalry reaches its peak in the play written by Schiller based on historical events. Mary Stuart is a historical and political fiction of the finest kind, delving into the intricacies of power and the religious stakes of a volcanic era. 

A tragedy with modern and unexpected comedic undertones, this ensemble show, a chiaroscuro fresco in costumes, brings its plot and characters caught in the turmoil of History to life.
