Words of Normand·es A literary voyage takes shape in the ruins of the Jumièges Abbey, an emblematic place steeped in history. Authors from the United Kingdom, Ireland, southern Italy, Flanders, Norway, Denmark, and other European territories come together to voice, through their writings, the challenges of the contemporary world. The ambition: to bring into dialogue the diversity of narratives and perspectives from writers who shape the literary landscape in their countries. European languages with common roots, major interviews, a literary banquet, and performances punctuate this highlight, conceived as a space for exchange between literature, history, and creation. A guest of honor accompanies the event: Ken Follett (subject to confirmation), a Franco-British author and major figure in historical fiction, whose work resonates with the setting and ambition of the project. Cooperation: France / Flanders / Southern Italy / United Kingdom / Ireland / Norway / Denmark Partnership: Seine-Maritime Department
