Happy William

Gai Guillaume is a call for historical fiction texts ranging from 30 to 120 pages, launched by the cultural association Les Moulins doux d’ici.

The project aims to enrich the literature dedicated to the conquest of England by the lords of William the Bastard, by offering narratives that deviate from traditional accounts.

The expected texts are based on historical facts while allowing space for literary creation, and are part of a renewed approach to this foundational period. The contributions are written in French.

The writing time is punctuated by the official ceremonies of Gai Guillaume, which mark the project throughout the year, through video conferences.
