Great Choral 2027

In spring 2027, Normands de Choeur will place choral singing at the center by organizing a large-scale musical week of European significance. Six choirs and vocal ensembles, bringing together nearly 200 singers from several countries linked to Norman history, will offer a lively program of performances throughout the week. The highlight of this gathering will be an exclusive concert presented at the Zénith in Caen. Constructed in partnership with Choral Events, an organization specialized in organizing vocal concerts internationally, the event will be organized in two parts: a series of concerts performed by the European choirs, followed by a unique show. This original choral creation is designed under the artistic direction of Rémi Delekta and features the exceptional participation of contemporary composer Ola Gjeilo. 100 Norman choristers and 50 musicians conducted by Fabrice Penin and Gilles Treille, 200 European choristers.
