from 15 June 2027
to 30 September 2027
The Justice of the Ancien Régime
An immersive and playful exhibition enriched with an interactive game offering rewards, inviting visitors to explore the paths of the Manoir du Catel differently.
Throughout an outdoor itinerary, discover justice under the Ancien Régime: its rules, mechanisms, and logic. A vanished universe that mixes collective fears and striking practices — gallows, pillories — but also singular stories and surprising episodes, such as the famous trials of animals.
A challenge accessible to everyone, with two distinct categories: children and adults.
At stake, an awards ceremony during the Festival of Living Custom, organized as part of the European Heritage Days 2027 at the Manoir du Catel.
