Guided tour of the castle and the temporary exhibition

The tour follows in the footsteps of the lords of Harcourt and goes back to the time of Anquetil and his four sons, companions-in-arms of William the Conqueror in the 11th century.
From the Piquet gate to the chatelet, passing through the lower courtyard and its view of the lordly residence, it retraces the history of the Harcourt family and its rise over the centuries. Loyal to the dukes of Normandy, the kings of England, or the royal power, its members actively participated in the history of Normandy and Europe.

Accompanied by a guide from the estate, the tour immerses you in the heart of the medieval history of this significant site of Norman heritage.
