Story of a saint and his reliquary: historical and artisanal encounters around Saint Céneri.

This popular event takes place over a weekend in August 2027 and marks the completion of the restoration of the reliquary of Saint Céneri by the gilder Héloïse Nice. On this occasion, the village becomes a place of discovery where heritage, know-how, and living history intersect.

Artisans showcase their crafts related to the Middle Ages and Normandy—illuminated manuscripts, tapestries, stone carving—while an exhibition retraces the history of Saint Céneri and the village.

The program is enriched with significant scientific and cultural events: the medieval historian Michel Pastoureau leads a masterclass conference, and Tony Legendre offers a presentation dedicated to the history of the relics of Saint Céneri.
The local heritage is also discovered through guided tours of the village led by the tour guide Dominique Eudier. The highlight of the weekend is when the restored reliquary is carried in procession through the streets to the chapel, where an outdoor mass is celebrated. In the church, a women's choir performs medieval songs, deepening the immersion in the historical universe.

The event continues in a friendly atmosphere with a countryside picnic in the meadow of the chapel, while a local market highlights local producers and regional craftsmanship.
