Great popular and cultural gathering around the medieval theme!

On the occasion of Millenium, this highlight invites us to revisit medieval history through collective creation and participation. Costumes and creations freely reference William the Conqueror and, more broadly, the imagination of the Middle Ages.

In the lead-up, creation workshops — costumes, masks, floats, puppets — are offered at various sites in the city, in connection with numerous partners: associations, social centers, and educational institutions. This collective work feeds into a large festive parade that intertwines residents and visitors.

Giant puppets, floats, brass bands, and balloon structures accompany the route, designed as a popular and unifying moment in public space.
